Sauna/Halo/Chromo/Red Light

Infrared Heat Sauna/Halo (Salt Therapy)/Chromo (Light Therapy)/Red Light Therapy

What it is…

A synergistic combination of infrared sauna, red light therapy and salt therapy (halotherapy) to engage all 5 senses for a truly transformative experience. Our chamber provides multiple modalities: salt therapy (halotherapy), infrared sauna, red light therapy, professional grade chromotherapy, aromatherapy, and meditation. The heat from the infrared sauna can help relieve sore muscles and improve your overall health and well-being, leaving you more relaxed and rested. Red light therapy is thought to work on your body’s cells to work more efficiently in repairing skin, boosting new cell growth, and enhancing skin rejuvenation. Chromotherapy has been reported to reduce swelling, relieve pain, decrease inflammation, accelerate open wound healing and greatly reduce overall recovery after medical/surgical procedures. Patients have demonstrated increased range of motion, decreased muscle tension and spasm, and improved circulation. Also, many studies indicate the reduction in oxidative stress can have positive effects in combating long-lasting health problems. Oxidative stress is associated with cardiovascular diseases (such as high blood pressure and heart failure), cancer, and degenerative diseases such as dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Your Appointment…

  • Make sure to be hydrated before, during and after going into the chamber. We will have water in the room for your session, but you can bring your own water in a non-metal container if you wish.

  • Length of time. We suggest your sauna time is 20 to 30 minutes depending on the temperature and how well you tolerate the heat.

Use at least twice a week starting with 10-15 minutes at a time and work up to 30-40 minutes at a time slowly. Best practices say not to use the infrared sauna more than twice a day. It's not recommended to stay in longer than about 45-60 minutes at a time even when you're used to the heat.

  • Clothing. How one dresses is a personal choice. Some people will wear bathing suits without metal touching the skin, while others prefer to go in naked. A towel will be placed on the bench for you to sit during your session. Your room has a door you can lock.

  • What can you do while in the chamber? Relax, meditate, listen to music, or chat with the person you brought with you.

  • After the session is over. When the session is done, we suggest that you take your time and let your body cool down. Once cooled down, feel free to use the towel/body wipes provided in your room. (If using the session for a skin condition, you will want to allow the salt to stay on the skin.) Make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

Number of sessions per week…

We recommend using the sauna/salt chamber up to a max of 3-4 days per week. However, it is important to note that seeing a healthcare professional before starting any treatment is recommended.
